Broodmares

These mares really help make up our herd each one has chacteristics that we look for in our foals. they really help enhance different features from our stallion.

 UPDATE: We recently lost this beloved mare. she was 3 month in foal to our stallion. RIP my love.

APHA  SUPER KIT aka Kit or Honey in foal for march 2010 then will have a year off and bred to Jet for 2012 foal  

First up is Brandy she is a 1997 AQHA sorrel mare she is my pride and joy I have had her since she was 2yrs old.She is broke to ride and use to show halter and western pleasure but has recently been raising foals for us.She produces very well muscled foals that are versital.See the foal page for  her 2007 and 2009 foals .

 

 

 

 

Next we have Kit or honey
she is a 1989 sorrel tobiano mare . she is new hereand is 21yrs old rides but has been a momma the last 2 yrs,she is in foal to an outside stallion,and she will have our only 2010 foal so far this year,she is due march 25-29 and she is bagging up alot since she got here.i actually didnt  know i was getting her she was dropped off at my house with a note and papers attached to her halter.so i will be spending alot of time getting to know her.but i researched her foals and they have all had color.she is not homozygous,she is heterozygous and was tested at ucdavis. i will post pictures of her soon
